Overview

The IT Department is seeking a motivated Operations Analyst Co-Op who will be based out of the O’Fallon, MO office. As an Operations Analyst Co-op, you will be responsible for monitoring system health, developing automation scripts, and collaborating with IT teams to ensure efficient operations. This role will also provide technical support, maintain documentation, and ensure systems comply with security policies.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Includes but not limited to):

  • Monitoring and Logging: Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts for deployment, testing, monitoring, patching, and other operational tasks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with developers, IT staff, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for application development environments, including troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, deployment procedures, and user guides.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that systems and applications comply with security policies and standards, including monitoring security vulnerabilities and applying security patches.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Assist in the setup, maintenance, and improvement of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps.
  • Software Administration: help managing third-party software like Salesforce, Epicor Configurator, RF-Smart, and VShell.
  • Learning and Adaptability: Complete self-paced training and guidance on using new tools and technologies as required.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required.
  • This position will be 4 days a week on-site at our corporate office and 1 day remote from home.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student, working towards an associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related discipline.
  • A student that has completed at least 24 college credit hours is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft server operating systems.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and Teams.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on building customer rapport.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong documentation skills.

The duration of this co-op is May to December, 7:30am - 4:00pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
