- Must be working towards a degree or certificate from college, technical school, or other educational program in engineering or precision machining.
- Six or more months related experience or training required.
- Basic knowledge and use of machining equipment, such as drill presses, grinders, lathes, band saws as well a high level of capability with the use of basic hand tools.
- Pays close attention to detail.
- Strong time management, prioritization, multi-tasking, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Positive, collaborative, and open-minded attitude.
- Self-motivated, responsible and ambitious.
- Ability to apply good judgment and make decisions independently.
- Effective professional communication skills both written and verbal.
- Can represent themselves, the department and the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Ability to work well and effectively communicate with team members.
- Computer skills: General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred, but not required.
The hours for this position are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
