Overview

The part-time True Store Cashier & Literature Assistant will work in the True Store and greet internal customers along with working in the Literature room to assist, process and deliver literature requests and True Store Premium Requests.

 

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work independently or as part of team. This role will focus on elevating the customer experience in the True Store and providing assistance with the creation and distribuition of printed marketing materials.  

 

True Store Description 

The True Store is an onsite retail store offering a wide variety of True logo premium items and apparel available to True employees and customers via tours. In addition to the onsite store, we plan to build an online capability to process sales directly from the warehouse to customers.

 

Literature Area Description

The Literature Area, which is overseen by the Literature Coordinator, is responsible for the printing, cutting, binding, assembly, order fulfillment, and distribution of all True marketing material for all divisions including: Marketing and Sales; Trade Show Support; Install Manuals for production lines and various digital print requests for production lines and internal customers.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

True Store  

The True Store is a retail store offering a wide variety of True logo items available to True employees and customers

  • Opening and closing store two times per week and complete all transfers that day.
  • Running the cash register and the Square retail point of sale (POS).
  • Helping and checking-out customers.
  • Making sure the store is fully stocked before and after store opening and/or closing.
  • Open True Store for tours during non-store hours as needed.
  • Making sure store is clean and all items displayed are folded or hung and looking nice.

The True Store Warehouse responsibilities include

  • Receiving and entering new inventory.
  • True Store warehouse inventory tracking for ordering stock or new products.
  • Preparing and filling sales and marketing giveaway orders along with HR giveaways via requests and processing giveaway orders in Square system.

Literature

  • Assist in packaging and shipping literature requests and orders for all divisions and manuals to various production lines upon request. Pickup and fill digital print requests and literature requests.
  • Assemble literature and manuals using various printers, automated binder, trimmers, creasers, 3-hole punch, and various equipment for producing literature.
  • Ship and track UPS packages from Shipping Station.
  • Print latest literature files from recurring projects folders to replenish literature.
  • Maintain and keep Literature & True Store warehouse rooms cleaned and organized.
  • Operate and maintain color KM7090, C750, KM6120 B&W printers and supplies.
  • Make Service calls for printers when service tech required.
  • Train others on literature duties as needed.
  • Organize paper/label/envelope cabinets by color printers and refill as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • One or more years of experience preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel and Word Skills required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must have a positive, upbeat, customer-service, and team player attitude.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently and follow-up on projects/responsibilities without reminders.
  • Must have ability to work in a team environment, collaborate with other team members and supervisors on new ideas, and support changes in an always evolving environment.
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook experience preferred.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale Software preferred.
  • Mac computer experience preferred.
  • Ability to train other team members and shuffle between multiple projects within the department.
  • May be required to perform additional administrative tasks within the department.

This is a part-time position; the hours are 9:30am - 5:00pm or 10:00am - 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday; OR 7:00am - 5:30pm or 8:00am - 6:30pm, Tuesday through Thursday.
