Overview

The Domestic and International Travel Coordinator is the primary contact for all travel needs. This position approves all company team members’ travel requirements in addition to hotel accommodations and car rentals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist travelers with domestic and international travel reservations within the company's travel booking software.
  • Ensure travel bookings are complete, accurate and timely and company travel policies are met and approved.
  • Coordinate and create itineraries for travelers, including all reservation and confirmation information.
  • Handle last-minute travel plan changes and resolves travel problems for travelers.
  • Communicate courteously and professionally by phone and in person using good communication skills.
  • Follow-up on complaints from travelers, resolving most complaints, alerting supervisor as needed.
  • Explain and maintain policy to travelers asking for travel arrangements outside policy; continuous communication of policies and procedures to travelers.
  • Coordinate refund and void paperwork preparations.
  • Experience with various reservations software
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Two or more years of related experience required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The hours for this position are 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.
